I strengthen, yet I weaken.

I’m perpetually diverse.

I heal and I destroy.

I am silent and loud.

I pass with time.

I’m historically bound.

I’m old and new.

I lie. I tell truths.

I bite. I sting.

I echo and sing.

I’m frequent.

Yet rare.

I mend

And I tear.

I’m distinguishing.

I’m penned.

What am I?

I am Words.
